I’ve been tracking my energy cycles lately (big fun, I know) to get a better sense of when I do what kind of work best.
I work from home and I’ve got a fair amount of flexibility in scheduling so I have the luxury of designing my days. I’ve figured out that when I’m mentally drained (after, say, my morning work block) the best thing I can do is something physically energizing. For me that’s a photo venture, a work out, or even chores around the apartment. Anything to get me out of my head and into my physical environment, moving my body.
Yup, that’s lunch!
