Sigh… How sweet are these? My sisters notebook from the 80s and my Hunkydory pencil tin, made in England in 1992. I looked at them sitting on my shelf the other day and felt like they needed to be shared.

This notebook belonged to my sister Simone in the late 1980s. The original cover illustration was mouth painted by B. Peardon. I love how they printed it on thick textured paper, totally makes it.

I don’t know where this pencil tin came from, but it’s always felt special to me so it’s remained in my desk after every clean out over the years. Just holding and opening it makes me happy.

It reminds me of flipping through my Paddington Bear and Winnie the Pooh books — worlds I desperately wished I could walk into when I was six.
