Manchester City Centre

June 26, 2018

Ohhh heavens. It begins.

Trip photos!

My Mum and I spent just over two weeks together in Europe last month on our long-awaited mother daughter trip. We’ve been talking about this trip seriously for 3 years, but it’s been a goal of mine since I visited Stockholm for the first time in the spring of 2011 to come back with her. I fell in love with the city—especially it’s textile history—and I knew my Mum would love it too.

This trip was the final leg of our family history venture (more on that soon) and we started off in Manchester where my Grandad (my Mum’s Dad) grew up. My Grandad’s Nephew still lives here, so we went to visit him and his family just outside of Manchester.

These photos are from our trip into Manchester City Centre, where we spent the day wandering through the neighbourhoods, stopping for tea and cake at Chapter One Books, and checking out some local craft at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre.
